most of it is not good enough I know but even when they admit its not adequate nutrition for your dog, they can still sell it to you!

Very interested regarding not feeding my dog commercial food. But I thought you should know on this very page google adds are advertising Bakers complete dog food which is the very type of dog food you are against I find this very strange you would allow this!!.
Hi Stephen, I see the conflict, believe me. I was explaining to someone else earlier that I avoided adding advertising to this site for over 4 years but when the recession hit I was on the brink of shutting down because I carried this business on my savings for 18months. I dont control the ads, Google decides which ads to display.
HI ANDY I have just lost a 7year old toy poodle due to kidney failure i now know why. I have 3 others and have now started cooking their food from scratch meat fish chicken what veg would you advise me to add. Thanks for letting me know what the dog food i was giving them was harming them my ways of doing things have changed. ruby
Hi Ruby, sorry for your loss and that you had to find out the same way I did. My dog Noble also died from kidney disease before I discovered this stuff. Your dogs have a much brighter future now you’ve made the change, thanks for making the effort.

michael, by themselves rice and veggies is not enough, you’ll need to also add a good protein source. Go here and scroll down the page until you see the dog food recipe, try that one on your dog or use it as a template (it includes calorie breakdown and feeding advice for every dog size just like all the Dog Food SECRETS recipes).

I live in England and I was wondering if dog secrets will help me example will I be able to buy everything to make my own food also do you know of a good brand of dog food since all my dogs in the past have died between 11 and 14 years old.

You can still put it to use though because for each brand we have detailed the ingredient listings which you can compare against brands available in your area for guidance.
