Hi Andrew,
Our Lhasa Apso was overweight and has lost 2 pounds since we have been feeding him your recipes.
He has 1 1/2 pounds to go. And he is happier and friskier than ever.
In our community, they have been telling us that we are not dog owners. We are care givers. We have adopted these wonderful creatures and taken on the responsibilities of being their care givers. Neat concept, eh what?
Thank you for your efforts and especially a lot of tail wags, licks and woofs from Baxter. He’s a rescued dog and truly believes he has either died and gone to Heaven, or has been reborn. It’s a marvelous experience and totally fulfilling journey.
Great informative information. Here in the uk, it is difficult to get the message across! Pet owners do not realise the power of TV, and the dog food commercials. They still think that if they advertise the food must be good, its hard to get the message accross, that if they spend millions of pounds on advertising, then what do you think goes into food?
I have a big issue with one food in particular, unsure if they sell it in the U.S. Bakers Complete, on their packaging, on all flavours. It states that it is ILLEGAL to feed or store this product to or near farm animals. The warning is not in red, as it should be under UK law. On contacting Nestle three months ago, I am still awaiting a response.
I always remember that when I was a child our dogs all lived to 17/19 years of age. One reason I believe for this, is there was not the rubbish around that there is now.
Keep up the fantastic work, I have had no problem with any of your information.
Regards
David
Andrew what can I say…except thanks because I too see the nasty part about some dog owners & sorry but if people cannot treat a dog decently can you imagine how they treat one another??? As for my house my puppy Mimi who is a nine year old Bichon/Poodle…doesn’t look her age and plays as though she were 2 years old…
Friends have told me that I am too much for my puppy but hey that’s how I would want to be treated…some of the Vets say that Mimi is a very lucky dog even groomers say that to me….wow all I can say is if you cannot treat a poor defenseless animal with respect…what else would a person do….again I would do a background check on every potential dog owner…Many times I have questioned my friends who have dogs about the way that they care for their pets…sorry I don’t care…someone has to say something for these precious gifts from GOD that we have been so fortunate to have been given to us…I do the same for a child being abused in a store or an elderly person that’s just who I am…again thanks Andrew…
Dear Andrew,
I have watched the first, second, and now this third video. I’m looking forward to the forth. I am glad you are here for us dog (and cat) lovers. We all mean well, and believe we are making good food choices for our pets, and then we see that we may be harming them instead. It angers me that we are so misled in the pet food industry. I have two dogs and two cats. My dogs are extremely picky eaters. They would only eat Milk Bone dog biscuits and Cesar dog food. Also chicken, sweet potato’s, etc. that I cook for them. I have tried several of the dog and cat food brands that you recommended and ended up giving it away because I could not get my pets to eat it. I would end up going back to the Cesar brand. Then after watching your second video, I decided to try again. I ordered the Natura brand this time. I am having to feed my dogs by putting the food on my fingertip and letting them lick the food. They have to be coaxed. I also purchased some of Natura brand baked dog biscuits, and my dogs are eating them. I am gradually changing them over so as not to upset their digestive systems. I read the ingredients of the Cesar’s brand dog food and was frustrated that it has meat by-products, among other things. I feel sick that I didn’t know any better. Thank you for helping me learn to feed them the right things. I did look up which “people” foods are dangerous to pets. So I knew I needed to check THAT out at least. It is how I came across your website. I never fed my pets any of the recalled pet foods, except the chicken strips and Dingo rawhide chews. I was angry and frightened that I was so blind. My dogs are with me 99% of the time. I have more to learn so that they are the happiest and healthiest that they can be. I groom them myself, because one of my dogs had a couple of bad experiences at a couple of grooming places, and one time she was choked so badly that her eyes were hemorrhaged. The whites of her eyes were blood red. I filed a police report but nothing could be done. So I learned to groom them myself, and even though it takes me a couple of days to get them completely groomed, and I take them to the vet to have their nails trimmed, I know they are safe. They get massaged and petted in-between each grooming step. My pets have been a huge help to me. They helped me get through a real tough time in my life because of the wonderful love they give to me. I give them the same love back. I just want to know that I giving them the very best of care possible.
They deserve it!
Thanks again, Andrew, for being there for my sweeties and me.
Paula
Your videos are very informative and your sincerity is overwhelmingly refreshing. Keep up the good work. I enjoy and learn from your videos
Thanks,
Cindy
Video 3 had very poor sound. Especially for people like me that have hearing problems. It was very hard to understand what you were saying. Hope the next one is better.
Andrew,
Thanks. I am so glad that I bought your product. Not only have I gotten the product that I wanted but the bonus videos as well. Hopefully all of us are able to learn together.
My 3 dogs thank you as well.
Thanks,
Jim
(Katie, Holly, and Dixie – my girls)
Andrew,
Once again I thank you and Dani and Ruby thank you. Keep up the good work, as for some of the negative comments these people will never get it. Maybe as a group we can show everyone what “Dog Guardianship” is all about.
I wrote my comments as above but incase others read the letters too I would like to ask anyone in the group about two products I found while looking for a rain coat for my puppy during the snow at Colorado.
First- ZiwiPeak dry (more like chips) venison ,daily dog cuisine, made in New Zealand (I still cook most of her meals but she loves this) &
Multiple different dog treats by Boulder Dog Food Company made in Boulder Colorado – she love these treats so much I think she would learn to drive a car if she had to to get them. I use the Chicken bits for training, but she also loves the biscotta, the bision chews etc. all of it. I have ordered more on line but would like to know if anyone else uses /had experience with. Write as a comment or email me at eaandcmbush@gmail.com
Thanks Carolyn & Patches
Andrew
You have excellent organizational skills and I loved your presentation of #1,#2 & #3. You present your goals then meet them. You have tied each program into the big picture giving us insite as to where you are going with #4. You have helped us identify the right mental attitude we will need to make a difference not only in our dog’s life but in the community.
I have already noted a big change for me and Patches. Example My husband and I have a monthly MD visit. Our puppy Patches is invited into the MD building and our doctor’s wife watches her for us during the visit(her offer). They have two dogs and today we spent an hour sharing about the dogs. I know they can feel the enthusiam from us and love the knowledge we are now able to share. I was able to direct a friend of a friend to your program because of the problems she was having with her dogs.
People are watching my 4 month old runt of the litter little girl beagle (known for being hard headed) sit, stay, shake a paw, ask to go out to the bathroom etc. and such well behaved. They know we have not had her long are impressed and I am glad to share what I know and tell them where to get the same information.
The vet we use was impressed that we knew the correct method for reduction of separation anxiety and knowledge of dietary needs (being an RN helped me some here but all about the dogs I learned from the programs here). Her puppy hair and skin are noticeably far improved.
We just returned from Colorado, we drove with Patches 24+ hrs there and 24+ hrs return. None stop both ways and no problems. During car stops I would tell her “make good girl pee pee” and she would go on the spot for us. She was so well behaved during our visit I thought people were going to pay me to hold her.
My brother-in-law has two of the largest wolfhounds I have ever seen Patches at 7lbs was kissing them. They got along great and I have great pictures of them. Again I used the opportunity to share how I got my dog along so fast and to let them know what I can do they can too. Attitudes are very contagious I noted more conversations shifting away from “me & I” to everyone talking about dogs.
I try to read what other’s write about the programs I may not read them all BUT HATs off to Lester and Buddy (the JRT) letters. It saved me from writing the same and I will add you said it all quiet well. I purchased Dean’s program first I just wanted a few dog tricks. I then got the sit/stay/fetch ,then Dove Cress program last I purchased the gold program from you Andrew. Want my money back?? I pray you don’t ask for more.
I have received everything I have ordered. I did not have any problems with any of the programs (they opened, they played, they downloaded etc.easy instructions) The noise in the background with #3 was slight. I am sure most people have more background noise from their side of the computer.
I also started receiving mail from Dr.Jon he advertises you Andrew a lot. I am such a sponge for learnin g this wonderful material. Hurry with #4.
Again another great job done. Thank you Andrew. All dogs on earth and in heaven applaud you and us humans too.
Love and doggy kisses from Carolyn and Patches
Andrrew, thanks for a well thought out video. I think the work you are doing is very much needed in this world. Thanks for putting this together. I only hope you can reach as many dogs as possible before it is too late. I have the same concerns as you do and it is great to see you doing something about it. Best of luck in your venture.
Thanks for all of your hard work. My three babies and I appreciate it very much.
HELLO AGAIN ANDREW,
ONCE AGAIN YOUR RIGHT IN THIS DAY IN LIFE WE ALL ARE OVERCOMMITED,AND YES ITS HARD SOME TIMES TO GIVE THE ATTENTION THAT TEY DESERVE ,I WORK 10HRS ADAY, AND IT IS HARD TO COME HOME AFTER A HARD DAY PLUMIBING, AND TAKE AND RUN TWO MASSTIFFS AND A BULLDOG, BUT THEY GET IT AT LEAST 3 DAYS A WEEK AND THE REST THEY GET 1/2 HOUR OF GOOD PLAY TIME I FEEL THAT ITS SO IMPORTANT BUT WE KNEW IT IS A RESPONSABILITY WHEN WE BROUGHT THEM IN TO OUR HOME THERE NOT POSSETIONS, THERE FAMILYMEMBERS. CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE,
UNTIL THEN
BEST REGARDS
ANTHONY FORD AND THOR, ZEUS AND SKARRLETT
Good job Andrew. Too many people dont give thier dogs Quality time. I hope you keep up your vidieos.
As always, I look forward to the next one.
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your videos. They are right on track. They have shown me that I am doing the right thing with my two dogs and two cats. Technical comment: 1. The first two videos were excellent in video and audio. 2. This third video had good video, but the audio contained static in it, but uncerstandable.
There is one thing that we further discovered, that regardless what good food we feed our animal companions, whether bought or self-made they also need dog and cat zymes in their diet. When they receive the correct amount of the enzymes, their coats are shiney and soft, and the animals are full of vigor.
Andrew;I never got to see your video’s.I am on dial-up and it’s so slow it won’t run it.I know that they were good.
Thanks anyway,
Doris
Hi Andrew
Video 3 pointed out the dificulties of being in excellence of dog ownership.
I look forward to the next video. By the way a little update on my dog Sadie. A little more than a month ago she had a bladder infection (a bad one) took her to the vet and she was placed on antibiotics. Took her back in a couple weeks and she still had the bacteria so continued her on antibiotics for another four weeks. Come to find out after tests she has kidney and liver desease (at early stage). In two more weeks I take her in again and I think they will put her on other medications? for the kidneys and liver. I’m hoping that I can put a stop to it or at least slow it down to be able to continue giving her quality of life.
Andre
My goodness, everyone does seem to have an opinion don’t they? Well I guess I’ll add mine. Good job! I’ve enjoyed all of the videos. I was able to download all of the information I purchased, and my pup Augie is in his bliss with his diet. Thanks!
hi I’m trying to get a product out on the market for dog and pet owners that will help all dogs live much longer lives especially larger breeds I take it myself and what it does is when given to your dog it goes through their systems and cleans out all their arteries and viens of plaque and cholestoral as it does in people and this stuff really works ! i know because it worked great on myself and then i inquired if this product would work as well on dogs ! and i was told that it would work just as well since its basicly a very harmless product and i am going to try and market it to vetinarians and individual pet owners and petco’s and petsmart’s and this product could give all dogs a much healthier and longer living life since dogs basicly eat mostly high cholestrol meats and proteins that can cause their arteries to clog just like it does when we eat these types of foods ! so if you or anyone wants more details on this product please have them mail me at bruhaa1@yahoo.com it can also keep a dog from undergoing expensive surgeries that could happen as they age so this would be a great product to give them and its very safe for them! thanks bruce
Andrew,
First, You are doing a swell job. Keep in mind that no one can please all the people all the time. For those of us who really care, we will continue to absorb the info passed to us and appreciate the time and effort that you apply to this subject. My pet is so much more healthy since I changed her dog food diet that I wonder why more vet’s aren’t informed. Thanks.
Andrew, just have to say, you are doing a wonderful thing here. To all the whinners…STOP IT. My daughter and I have 3 pitt bulls and they are the best and smartest dogs I have ever seen. PJ is 7, Winnie is 6 and Jake somewhere around 3 or 4. The first 2 were taken from the parents ( to save their lives ) before they were a month old, they were so infested with fleas that their tongues were almost white. Jake was rescued and was very afraid of everything for months. He had been severely beaten. Our neighbors all know what kind of dog they are and it was a real treat to us to be able to teach them that all pittbull dogs are not bad. Now they greet them and give them treats when we allow it. Our dogs ( children ) have 2 alpha parents, my daughter and myself. They are fed healthy, excercised and given a lot of love and attention. In return they are loving, playful and respectful of us, they listen even when they don’t really want to. They are well on their way to a long and healthy life, also a happy one.
Thank you for all the great information in your books and videos.
Perhaps a helpful statement to the newest dog owners would be ‘ If your child were sick you would take him or her to a doctor, do your best friend the same courtesy and see the vet. Also you wouldn’t chain your child outside in all kinds of weather, you would teach them to respect the home so they can use it as you do. They each have their own personalities, encourage that and don’t try to mold them all the same. Give them love and respect and they will return the favor ten fold.
Once again Andrew, great job! The faulty audio or video quality doesn’t bother me a bit and I would be gratified if you devoted your efforts to your message rather than to improving any technical issues. As i browse the responses it is clear that those people who are getting the most out of your work feel the same. Those who have the nerve to complain about it are probably deaf to your message anyway. I am a proud owner of your ‘Gold’ package and also of dozens of volumes relating to dog ownership and care. The info in your ‘Gold’ package is more extensive, useful and practical than all the other books combined! Looking forward to the next video, and I would like to add my sincere gratitude to all the others who understand, appreciate and benefit from your efforts. Gabriel (my Mastiff) appreciates you too!
Great video Andrew Can’t wait for the next one!
You are doing a great job educating and supporting dog owners everywhere. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the next video. I now see dog ownership and an ongoing learning experience. Thank you for all your hard work.
Andrew:
Thanks for the information. Cannot wait to the next one.
Thanks Again
Ruthie
Great Stuff Andrew thanks for all the work and effort you have done to get out the message. You folks need to quit worrying about the video quality, it’s the message that’s important, pass it on to those that need some help in proper dog ownership, then you’ll be doing something positive like Andrew is doing. The following is a message from all our cannie friends.
A DOG’S PRAYER
Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in the world is more grateful for kindness than my loving heart.
Do not break my spirit with a stick for though I would lick your hand between blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.
Speak to me often, for your voice is the world’s sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.
When it is cold and wet please take me inside for I am now a domestic animal no longer used to bitter elements. I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Though you had no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow, for you are my god and I am your devoted worshiper.
Keep my pan filled with fresh water for, although I would not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food that I may stay well to romp and play and do your biding, walk by your side and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life should yours be in danger.
And, beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to take my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather, hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest… and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I draw that my fate was ever safe in your hands.
Good video. I changed my dogs’ diet last summer and I have never looked back. I continue to learn new things every week and tell as many doggy people as I can about what I do and the things that they can do. It is like being an excellent parent, it takes work and isn’t easy, but in the end it is well worth it…the same applys to dogs.
Andrew – can’t wait to see what comes next!!!
My Chi, Caroline, sends her love w/lots of puppy kisses…
Amy
smoothest video to date! Can’t wait for the next one
Andrew, Again thank you for sharing this knowledge with me. My dog “RC” and “Endora” also thanks you. Keep up the good work.
Hi Andrew, Sorry to hear of your PC problems. Hope all goes well with you. Keep up the great work that you are doing. There is many of us out here that needs all the help they can get.
Thanks
Ron
We can’t just get rid of our dog because health problems do not allow us to spend as much time and money as we’d like with our dog, but appreciate your video and insights.
I keep waiting for clear & specific examples – rather than vague “Mom and apple pie” generalizations. We all love our pets, please provide specific examples!
Thank you Andrew. I look forward to video 4 and your Community idea!
Hi Andrew, thanks again. Video #3 was good but I thought 1@2 held more info! Can’t wait for #4. I know I can do a lot better as a informed and responsible pet owner for my dog Dixie. Thanks for setting me on the right track and sharing your expertise with us. Chris Lord
Hi Andrew, It is very obvious that you care for animals and you are to be commended for taking the time to educate people on what is best for our fur kids. Keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to the next video.
Sue
Andrew,
I never did find out, what 9 commercial dog foods you would feed your
dogs. You stated that your book in the bronze package would reveal
these. Could you please let me know what they are!
Hi Andrew:
I enjoyed your 3rd video and look forward to viewing your next video. You manage to keep me looking in anticipation to more information that you put together.
With each passing video your method of delivery appears more polished and professional. You still need improvements to your audio but it’s not too bad.
Like most people I am always a skeptic when it comes to someone who appears to be doing me a favor when we all know that they are in the business to sell something but so far I must admit you really seem to care about the lives of pets. I hope I am not mistaken and that you aren’t just leading up to a sales gimmic.
Hi Andrew:
You get people thinking about what they may be doing wrong and needing to take the proper steps to correcting bad situations. It is very important that we all become excellent pet owners. We have an obligation to our pets to make sure that we do everything responsibly to ensure a long, healthy and happy life for them.
Andrew, you’re doing a great job. Allie and myself thank-you!
The sound wasn’t great in this one. I don’t feel you are answering the problems of dog ownership. Just asking the questions, so far at least. Maybe No. 4 will finally get down to brass tacks. Asking questions, however, gets people thinking on their own about the answers so in that way you are providing a wonderful service to dogdom. Looking forward to the next one.
Hi Everyone,
First I want to say, if you requested a refund and never received one I’m very sorry.
I have staff who do nothing but handle support requests from my valuable readers.
I have just sent an email to everyone answering the main concerns raised during this series.
I’m really trying my hardest to give you something which is both interesting, informative and entertaining.
Thanks everyone for your comments and your honesty.
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
I am very excited about your next video, I commend you for all the time that you have put into your research, and the team you have working with you. I wish someone would have done this alot sooner, and I guess, maybe some of us didn’t know where to start. I too lost a cocker spaniel at the age of 9 months due to poor in line breeding which cause him to have major major aggression issues. Now I have a Novia Scotia Duck tolliver retriever/irish setter and he is an awesome dog, and my very best friend.
Keep up the good work.
CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THATS WHAT I FELT HEAD FIRST FULL SPEED AHEAD.SHOW US THE WAY OUR GREAT LEARDER SO WE CAN ALL SPREAD THE WORD
This video wasn’t as informative as the others but “I DONT WANT MY MONEY BACK” The first videos were worth every cent I paid and MORE!!!!! My dog Max, a 9 year old Terrior is very happy with his new diet. But just as important is that I feel I’m doing all possible to help him have a long happy life. The sceen saver alone is wonderful!!!! I thank you Andrew and as for the negative comments, quit WHINING, people, and go give your dog a hug.
Best Regards,
John Knight
I come from England and sometimes people use dogs as status symbols.Another reason for not becoming an excellent dog owner. I like the slightly Raw style of the blog, if it was too slick it would would loose its immediate style and . Am looking forward to the next chapter.
Aloha Andrew,
I’ve lived in Hawaii for the last 23 years … thus the “aloha”.
In my opinion, effective communication must consider the message to the “heart” as well as the message to the “intellect”. Public schools emphasize the intellectual while, for the most part, neglecting the emotional. The result is we have smart kids who handle their feelings, especially anger, in dumb ways.
It’s difficult to justify mistreating a dog from a purely intellectual standpoint … it becomes easier when we look at the probable feeling state involved and then challenge the person to handle those feelings in more mature, responsible ways.
For example,
“Johnny, why did you hit your sister?”
“She took my marble.”
“Suzy, why did you take Johnny’s marble?”
“He called me a name.”
“Johnny, why did you call your sister a name?”
“She looked at me crosseyed”… and this nonsense can go on for some time!
A person who leaves his dog tied to a short chain all day long may find excuses for his actions … but excuses seldom look honestly at the feeling states involved. . Our challenge is to recognize our feelings, accept them and then learn to express them in mature, responsible ways.
In my opinion, your goal of helping dog owners “do the right thing” might achieve its goals more effectively when you consider the emotional aspects of “doing the wrong thing”.
Looking forward to hearing your big idea.
Unfortunately I was unable to understand what you were saying. That is, your words were garbled as they came over my computer. They sounded like you were speaking from within a balloon….jerky, with no rhythm. Sorry. I got the idea of what you were saying from the printed matter and am looking forward to Video 4.
BETTIE WARREN~~~
If you are still looking as to what to feed your doggies ~ if you get the Gold package, Andrew has recipes & recipes & recipes for all sorts of meals & treats ~ good wholesome food for the kiddies!!!
Good video. Lookng forward to the next one. Thank you for helping us be better dog owners.
Hi Andrew,
The video is somewhat staticky. The strength of your videos is making all of us
aware that there are better ways of doing things for the friends we love. In each
video, at least one person out here will find something they never thought about, or discover a ‘better way.’ i.e., “over commitment.” Hmm, I will think more on that one. I just may be one of them.
If your computer gets to be too cantankerous, just consider retiring it, and find another.
Leta
Well Andrew this was great. You are a very much animal lover as I read what you wrote.Te first thing I ever read was about how dog’s are eaten and the pictures, really woke me up after my dog had food poison fom the food. Thank-you once again for your care Belinda
Twyla and Robbin -what are u feeding your dogs? Mine are getting hungry
Maggi – what do u feed your dogs? I am at a loss what to feed mine. I’m afraid of all commercial dog food and the vet said people food is not good for them
Each time I read or watch info from you, I learn something new (some info I already knew but it doesn’t hurt to refresh my brain)
I used to raise goats in CA & if one of them died, I took it to the rendering place ( I believe it was in Chino) At the time I didn’t pay attention to exactly what was going to be done with the carcass. I had friends who lived in the big dairy farm areas of Mira Loma & Chino ~ when the calves died, their carcasses were put out on the road for the trucks from the rendering plant to P/U. Sometimes the dead animals were out there in the
sweltering heat of Southern CA, waiting for days at a time — and I continued to buy commercial dog food for my mini Doxies, Shelties, Dobermanns, & German Pinscher without putting 2 & 2 together. You can be sure Zuma, the Chihuahua doesn’t eat that ROT. I am sure that the dog food had something to do with Mercedes, the GP, getting Cushing’s disease. Any research been done on this??? Please let me know. Any other “parents” lose their babies to Cushings???
Did enjoy video #3 ~ waiting for #4 Thumbs up, Andrew!
ANDREW, ANDREW, ANDREW. MAN I REALLY FEEL FOR YOU. AS I READ THE REPLYS SENT IN TO YOU, I SOMETIME FEEL SO SAD FOR YOU, TO HAVE TO LISTEN TO (AND READ YOURSELF) SOME OF THE THINGS THESE PEOPLE WRITE AND ASK OF YOU (I.E. KYLE BENEFIELD). I GUESS SOME PEOPLE THINK YOU OWE THEM THE WORLD. I WOULD TRUELY LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THEY EXPECT OUT OF A MAN? YOUR MATERIALS ARE S PLANE AS DAY TO ME. YOU ARE TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO PEOPLE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A “RESPONSIBLE” DOG OWNER, THATS NOT HARD TO LATCH ON TO. YOU ARE JUST TRYING TO TEACH PEOPLE THAT THERE IS MORE TO CARING FOR A PET THAN JUST OWNING IT. I GUESS REAL PET OWNERS/PROVIDERS UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO GET ACROSS AND THE ONES HAVING TROUBLE WITH UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN THESE VIDEOS ARE PROBABLY NOT GOING TO MAKE RESPONSIBLE OWNERS. IT SEEMS LIKE THEY AREN’T GETTING WHAT IT TAKE TO DO THIS. IF YOU CAN’T GET WHAT ANDREW IS TELLING YOU, WHEN IT’S AS PLAIN AS DAY & NIGHT, DON’T CUT HIM DOWN BECAUSE THE MAN MAKES PERFECT SINCE TO ME AND THE OTHER PEOPLE I READ IN THE BOGS ENCLOSED.A LOT OF “YOU” GUYS ARE MISSING WHAT THE FINAL WORDS ARE SAYING. HE MAY HAVE HAD SOME DIFFICULT TIMES IN PRODUCING THESE VIDEOS AND ADVISE, MAYBE THE WIND WAS BLOWING IN THIS LAST ONE BUT MY GOD PEOPLE, HE WAS AT A HOTEL, USING THEIR CONNECTION & A LAPTOP, NOT A STUDIO. THE MAN HAS WENT THROUGH A TON OF OBSTICLES TO PUT THESE TOGETHER FOR YOU PEOPLE AND SOME OF YOU (AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) ARE KNOCKING HIM DOWN BECAUSE YOU CAN’T UNDERSTAND IT OR THE QUALITY ISN’T PERFECT. I DON’T SEE YOU TRYING TO GET A MESSAGE OUT THERE FOR THE GOOD OF THE ANIMALS WE HAVE AS PETS. THE MAN HAS HAD A MAJOR LOSS IN THE DEATH OF “NOBLE” AND HE IS DOING HIS DAMNDEST TO TRY TO HELP YOU ,AND YOU ASK FOR MORE. HE DOESN’T CLAIM TO BE A “TRAINER” OR “DOCTOR”. hE’S JUST SOMEBODY WHO HAS COMPASSION FOR DOGS AND IS TRYING TO HELP YOU PEOPLE OUT BY TEACHING YOU WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A PROPER & RESPONSIBLE DOG OWNER/PROVIDER. THIS STUFF HE OFFERS IS NOT GIVEN TO HIM, HE HAS SPENT A LOT OF MONEY TO RESEARCH ALL HE OFFERS AND YOU CLOWNS AREN’T SATISFIED, YOU THINK HE OWES YOU MORE AND SHOULD PROVIDE MORE, WELL PEOPLE, LTS SEE YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS. HIS GOLD PACKAGE IS REALLY CHEAP IN PRICE FOR THE KNOWLEDGE HE PROVIDES IN IT & THESE VIDEOS ARE FREE. FOREEEE PEOPLE, AND VERY ACURATE & IF YOU CAN’T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS DOING IN THEM, OR THINK HE SHOULD “GIVE” YOU MORE (TRAIN-FEED-BATHE-GROOM AND TAKE ROVER FOR A WALK FOR YOU, INCLUDING CLEANING UP POOP ALONG THE WAY) THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU BOTHERING THE MAN WITH YOUR TRIVIAL WHINING BULLSH–. YOUR NEVER GOING TO GET IT ANYWAY AND PROBABLY WON’T MAKE A VERY GOOD PROVIDER FOR THAT PET, OR A FUTURE DOG.
AGAIN I SAY GO SOMEWHERE & TRY TO FIND THIS KIND OF ADVISE———FREE! I DON’T THINK SO!!!!!! I’M DAMN SURE GLAD MY DOG AIN’T IN YOUR CARE!!! TAKE SOME CLASSES IN “REALITY”!!!!! LESTER & BUDDY (THE JRT) IN B.G. KY. (USA)
Another great video, Andew!! You organize your information in a very structured and logical way. It is very clear and informative. I have learned from these 3 videos and am looking forward to more.
Bravo!
Blessings to you and your dog,
from Linda (and Maggie May) Boismenu
Good job Andrew. More people including myself need to strive to be excellent dog custodians
I’m a veterinarian and I will say that you have my attention. I am still waiting to see how your ideas unfold. I am also interested to see how (if at all) you include veterinarians in this vision of educating people. I think I have a real opportunity to make the kind of difference that you talk about, but I am always looking for better ways to maximize the positive impact I can make in the time I have with my patients and clients.
Andrew: Again you have given me food for thought. I try to be an excellent dog owner and many people look to me as an example. I don’t want to let them down, but I can certainly use your help. If there are more people that outwardly implement excellent dog ownership, maybe so many eyes won’t be on my every move. I’m human, I love my dogs, and I let them get away with stuff that I tell others not to do. “Do as I say, not as I do!” In some ways I feel my dogs have earned some privileges, because they are under control and work hard to please me. I’m looking forward to “The Big Idea” about Community and Global Excellence in Dog Ownership.
Sincerely, Deb

HEY ANDREW, I REALIZE YOU CAN’T DO THIS, BUT I CAN! AS FOR–GWEN, JAN & KIM- YOU GUYS ARE REALLY SOMETHING! i CAN’T BELIEVE YOU ARE TAKING UP SPACE ON THIS BLOG! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. THIS MAN IS DOING NOTHING SHORT OF GREAT AND YOU GUYS ARE WHINING ABOUT NOT BEING “SATISFIED”. I DOUBT IF YOU CAN BE. YOU PROBABLY SCREWED UP WHEN DOWNLOADING OR SOMETHING ON THE ORDER & I WOULD BE WILLING TO BET, YOU ARE JUST THE PEOPLE HE IS TALKING ABOUT, AND ME ALSO IN MY PREVIOUS REPLY. THIS IS NEITHER NTHE TIME OR PLACE TO HANDLE THIS KIND OF BUSINESS. YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW HOW TO TREAT A PET EITHER. YOU ARE, MORE THAN LIKELY, NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT ANDREW IS TRYING TO GET ACROSS AND THINK EVERY THING SHOULD BE DONE FOR YOU O YOUR STANDARDS AND DON’T GIVE A BIG RATS A– ABOUT YOUR DOG & TREAT THEM LIKE S— TOO. IF YOU WEREN’T SATISIFIED WITH THE EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE HE PROVIDED IN THE “GOLD PACKAGE”, YOU EITHER CAN’T READ-COOK-OR KNOW HOW TO INTERPRET KNOWLEDGE THAT IS UNSURPASSED IN THE WORLD OFCANINE LOVE & CARE! YOU DON’T KNOW HOW LUCKY YOU ARE FOR FINDING THIS MANS ADVISE. THE DOG FOOD CONSPIRACY IFORMATION ALONEIS WORTH MORE THAN YOU PAID FOR THE PURCHASED PACKAGE DOWNLOAD. AND,OH YEAH, ROCKY (OF KAIH & ROCKY REPLY) THE PACKAGE IS A DIRECT DOWNLOAD YOU COPY INTO YOUR COMPUTER MEMORY, NOT BOOKS YOU GET IN THE MAIL! THE LOW COST COULD NOT TOUCH THE PUBLICATION OF “BOOKS-DOCUMENTS” AVAILABLE IN PHYSICAL COPIES PUBLISHED AND SHIPPED TO YOUR ADDRESS. NO, ROCKO, THERE WILL BE NO BOOKS COMING IN THE MAIL, SO GO TO THE WEB SITE AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS HE LAID OUT (EVEN PICTURED POINTERS) IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. i’M NOT BITCHIN AT YOU GUYS, KAIH & ROCKY, YOU WERE JUST CONFUSED. BUT THE OTHER 3, I HOPE YOU ARE SHARPER IN PICKING UP THE KNOWLEDGE THIS MAN IS PROVIDING, FREE IN THE CASE OF THESE “RESPONSIBLE OWNERS VIDEOS” THAN YOU SEEM TO BE ABOUT THE USE OF THE REPLY BLOG SPACE HE PROVIDED. IT’S FOR OTHER SERIOUS PET OWNERS TO SHARE THEIR COMMENTS AND HELP FOR EACH OTHER, NOT TO WHINE ABOUT BEING UNGREATFULL. IF YOU FEEL YOUR BEING SCREWED (WHICH YOU MOST CERTAINLY ARE NOT) THEN DON’T WASTE OUR, OR ANDREW’S, TIME & SPACE, GO TO THE CORRECT PLACE TO DO THAT, AND, BABIES, THIS AIN’T THE PLACE!!! LESTER & BUDDY (THE JRT) IN B.G. KY. (USA)
Andrew…you have a great idea, but you are not unfolding it in a way that is helpful. The reason I bought your Gold package awhile back was the fact that you gave lots of great information (ie…feed your dog x, y, and z…don’t feed your dog, A, b, and c). The ideas you have in this video are vague and are not all that helpful. You only give general ideas and don’t break them down. You said that people told you to give them more meat, but you gave them more vague ideas. What can you do to be more helpful? Give people how-to’s. Tell them how to train their dogs….how to love their dogs more. Tell them a plan that will work; don’t just say that people need to have a plan. I was really hoping that you were going somewhere with these videos, but I’m not sure you are getting anywhere. I read your responses…there are quite a few more like this one. I’m not the only one with this opinion. Can you step it up a notch? Can you make a professional video without background noise? Can you find pictures that you didn’t reuse from your last video, or that appear they came from some e-mail forward? Can you give simple, easy steps that people can follow to better the lives of their dogs? If you can’t, then you fall back into the mediocre/average crowd. You might have great ideas, but if you can’t reproduce them in the people you are attempting to reach, then I’m not sure it is worth your time. I want to see you do really well. Heck, I paid a lot of money for e-books. I never buy e-books. I really believe in you, but I want to see more! Show your viewers what they’ve never seen before. That’s what your first video did! That is what will change the lives of dog owners forever.
Hi Andrew:
Good video3. You really hit it on the nail when you said that Americans work more and take less vacations than any other industrialized country. I can remember the horror I experienced to learn just how bad we American workers had been misused when I vacationed in Holland. They had a society geared to people while we have developed a society with only a target of wealth. Look at the way our college basketball stars bolt to the NBA and forsake that 100,00o education they could have had. The upshot is less time for our animal companions. In my case, I have two dogs and am now home with them most of the time. But they were 5 years old before that happened in 2005. Nothing beats that lick in the face as you are busy picking up leaves in the back yard. Keep up the good work, Andrew. I know where your heart is.
I look forward to your videos and I was not disappointed again. Without your dog owner education I do not know what my dogs and I would be doing, but I will guarantee not so good. Thank you for your commitment, sorry for your troubles. Your still an angel on earth in my eyes.
Hi Andrew,
You don’t have much info. on this series, you seem to like Playing with Powerpoint presentations. The pictures are very cute!
The books however are fabulous. I bought mine last year, and my Rufus and I are very thankful for the information, Kitty-katty appreciates her “top shelf” food as well. Thanks Andrew!
Hey Andrew, very nice but doesn’t hit home like #2. I wish every body that is considering getting a dog could review these videos. There are so many people get a pet for all the wrong reasons–”oh, a puppy is cute, I want to look good and powerful so I’ll get a BIG dog (Dobie-Sheperd-Rottie-Pit, etc.) so everyone will notice & beware of me” or ” my dog gets me a lot of attention” etc., etc. But as the “NEW” wears off they aren’t so happy they have them and when the pet is taking up “TOO MUCH OF MY ME TIME” they start neglecting the proper responsibilitys of ownership and care of that pet. In the end the dog suffers. All things in livestyle, housing, family orientations and every part of said owners future should be considered before taking on the “RESPONSIBILITY” of aquiring a LIVING-BREATHING BODY that GOD hisself has produced. And for the love of him, Please be sure you know and understand what is emplicated in providing the PROPER CARE AND LOVE it takes to make sure that LIVING ANIMAL has a healthy and happy, well socialized life-Puppy to Senior. Thanks Andrew, you are a Marter. I am happy I hooked up with you! Would like to meet you. Lester & Buddy (the JRT) in B.G. KY.
I like your personal touch in the videos. You make us feel like you are a friend who really cares about our individual pets. Some of your ideas about dog ownership inspire me to be mindful of what I do with “Annie” as her owner.
Awwww…that widdow puppy at the end was sooooo ceewwwwttt! What breed or mix is he/she? Another good video for all of us, thanks. Ron.
I am a proud owner of 6 Beagles. We bought a male and female and were going to bread to sell but we kept all 4 puppies, so we now have them all spayed/nutered. I brought your books after the tainted dog food, and now I make most of their food, which for 6 is alot of work sometimes, but they are worth it. I don’t know if I qualify as a qualified dog owner, but I do my best with working 40 + hours. I am really not sure what to think of the videos yet, but am waiting for #4.
Andrew,
You are so right about re-programming what we think is best. I just wish “big business” was on your side, the ones who make profits out of our ignorance, innocent as that ignorance may be. I wish there were affordable ways to change what is fed to us as pet owners as healthy for our pets when in fat, it is only healthy for the peope making the products. I cook for my dogs and people think I am crazy. But I will not buy food that is supposed to be natural and healthy until I am sure it really is truly natural and healthy. I lost my best friend two years ago and he was 8. I cannot explain what happened or why he got sick and died in just a few days time. I had been feeding him store bought food though and did not know any better back then. I am particularly careful with my dogs now and will not allow them to be a victim of my ignorance like my other dog, Oliver. Thanks Andrew for your insight and caring information you pass our way.

Good work Andrew, you have me on the edge of my seat. I just need it right now, that time table, that information. Good work, looking forward to hearing from you…
I lost my dog(Rascal) about three weeks ago,I believe if I would have know the proper care he shoud of had maybe he might still be with me,I miss him very much,he was wiyh me all the time, and I loved him very much and really miss him not been here.I tried to find the best food and givin the best care. I was wroung,Itruly believe the food he was having is why I lost him. i”m consitering having another cairn ,I know it would never take Rascal”s place, but would help fill the void that is within me.Therefor I”ll need and appreciate all the help and information I can get.I would want to make sure that the proper food and care is giving as he is intitled too. Thank You
I guess I was looking for more. While your videos are great ‘starters’, I would like to see more solutions to the problems you outline before introducing more problems.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
Andrew, Again I loved the video. Please keep the information coming. I fancy myself a good parent to my Jack Russel but I need more information as I want her with us, healthy and happy, for as long as possible.
Hi Andrew,
This is the first of your videos I have seen. In principle it seems fine, and I am looking forward to Video 4 which promises to outline how people like me (a new dog owner) can ensure that we follow the best path to help our dogs have a happy life.
A UK subscriber.
Thank you Andrew, you are right.
Now i’m really looking forward to video #4.
Amaturish video, but your heart is in the right place, and to all those who say that they didn’t get a refund,I expressed my dissatisfaction and I got a refund and Andrew still sends me information…judge for yourself.
HI ANDREW,
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING SUCH A LOT OF TIME AND PUTTING SUCH A LOT OF EFFORT INTO TRYING TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF OUR DOGGY FRIENDS.
i AM SURE ALL THE INFORMATION YOU ARE GIVING US WILL IMPROVE THE LIVES OF MANY OF OUR FURRY FRIENDS.
iT WILL ALSO MAKE US MORE AWARE OF THE NEEDS OF OUR LITTLE COMPANIONS AND HELP US TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS ABOUT THEIR UPKEEP AND WELL BEING
SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
JOY
Thanks again for your time and efforts. As for the complainers out there, this is not the place to request your money back for being dissatisfied. I was not happy with my purchase, requested my money back and received a VERY PROMPT refund. Now, here I am back again and happy to be here!
Sometimes, Andrew, you do ramble on a bit, but I’ll bet you are the very same way in person! I appreciate you bringing up subjects to discuss that most folks just keep to themselves. Keep up the informative discusions!
Thanks for the info. My dog is like a child to me & any way to make his life healthier & longer is the best gift anyone could receive.
VERY GOOD AND I HOPE SOMEONE WILL UNDERSTAND IT THANKS KAREN
The sound was not good ( I don’t know if it was your problem or mine) but I did get most of it, and benefitted greatly. I realized , while listening, that we have been unkind, really, by letting our large chihuahua sleep on our bed with us, and by not training her to use her crate. My husband is a pussy cat about this dog, so I have a hard time being strict with her. She has bad habits, which I’ve had pretty good luck in correcting, by using a water pistol. We love and adore her (named Mini cooper). Keep up the good work.
Well its all the truth, and can’t understand how certain others didn’t find this informative. our dogs are our children , any possitive information that benifits our family life is got to be a good thing. Allison Hay Bushland beach, Australia.
I totally agree. when you make a commitment to care for yor dog you take a responsabilty to that and you should do your utmost best and love them as they love and protect you, they deserve nothing less . good on you, for getting the message across
Well done once again. I pray that everyone listening and watching these take them seriously.
Bless you for the time you have put into bringing all this knowledge to all. Having been an owner of several pets thru my life I know the unconditional love they give and that we should in turn
give it back to them in every possable way.
Robin
ANDREW,you are the voice , knowledge, educator,of the eyes sad &happy, healthy, and sickly pets that we adore and often take for granted. we personaly starve for more information to better their lives.i thank you &your team for your efforts shared.please advise me of my status i `m under the impression i purchased your gold package ,please advise 203~667~3646-i need to know when i might expect my books.or did i fall into the dark hole your coming out of???thanks ROCKY
another good video, keep up the great work……………
Very good and very informative
Andrew, this is just a bunch of words. It isn’t in any way interesting or informative.
Wonderful and informative!
Andrew this series is great and I can’t wait for the 4th video. For myself, I want to be the best I can be with my two pets. They are part of the family. I have made mistakes but I try to correct them. I want them in my world for a long time and I think you are helping with that goal.
As usual, that was very a importative and a caring subject
regarding our pet dogs which we sincerely love and do the best we can for them. Truly we are sorry for your losses and you did good getting back.
So sorry but I cannot get to see your videos. Maybe I am not that accomplished on computers. I just can’t seem to get the videos although I have tried and tried. I am sure they are wonderful.
nice sentiments in all three videos. and a nice analysis of the problem. it’s about time for some solutions.
I agree with your video and your pictures are very cute.
Keep up the hard work and hope your computer will behave too.
thank you for the information keep it comming so i can become a better pet parent
ANDREW ANOTHER WONDERFUL WELL THOUGHTOUT AND ACCURATE PRESENTATION OF A COMPLICATED SUBJECT THAT SHOULD STRIKE THE HEARTS OF ALL DOG OWNERS ALIKE. I THINK YOU ARE CORRECT AND ON THE SPOT AND DID A FINE JOB OF MAKING SIMPLE WORDS STRIKE HOME WITH TRUTH. THANK YOU AND KEEP WORKING TOWARDS THE GOAL YOU’VE SET OUT FOR YOURSELF. REGARDS, F.
